A SNEAK PEEK FOR FALL

Just as we were settling nicely into our summer routine, it seems as though it has nearly escaped us altogether. But with the end of summer comes cooler weather, our favorite boots, and new autumn backdrops for photo shoots. Although bittersweet, the change of seasons, for us, symbolizes new beginnings starting with the introduction of our beloved Mara dress in a fall-appropriate Peacock Blue.

As with many of our Belle & Kai styles, the Mara dress in Ivory and Goldenrod were limited editions, which means when they sell out, they’re gone (so if you’ve been eyeing one of those shades, get it while you can!), but we loved Mara way too much to say goodbye just yet. The new shade of Peacock Blue adds an updated look to the vintage-inspired hi-lo dress. With ruffles and subtle Swiss dots, Mara marries high fashion style with an age appropriate look for a dress ready for plenty of twirling. The ¾ length bell sleeves effortlessly take you from summer to fall.  And did we mention the color? The perfectly toned blue makes it an on-trend pick for fall. Imagine a photo shoot in a field of sunflowers with the contrast of the blue complimenting the yellow of the flowers, like a dream come to life. We are swooning.

One of our favorite things about Mara is its versatility. Style it with cowboy boots for a western look, dress it up, add a flower crown, pair it with ankle boots or a simple pair of ballet flats, accessorize, or let the ruffles and faux pearl buttons do the talking. This dress makes a pretty, yet practical junior bridesmaid dress or attire for any special occasion.
